Program Summary
This workshop aims to enhance analytical thinking for strategy, negotiation to implement solutions, and building effective, engaged teams skills, focusing on understanding negotiation basics, recognizing your and others' styles, avoiding common mistakes, comprehending power dynamics in negotiations, appreciating team dynamics, and providing constructive feedback.
Outcomes/Objectives
Upon completion of this workshop, participants are able to:
Understanding the basic elements of negotiation and how to approach any negotiation more systematically
Gaining insight into your own and others’ negotiating styles
Recognizing common mistakes in negotiation and how to avoid them
Examining the role of power in negotiations
Appreciating Team Dynamics and how to optimize teams
Providing helpful feedback to inspire and grow those around you
Earning Requirements
Participants must demonstrate substantive, informed class participation and complete six individual written journals along with a final reflection paper.
