Program Summary
This course explores topics related to the CIO's role as a technology leader and as a strategic business leader. Learners get insight into the CIO’s role as a technology leader and how technology can bolster business and innovation now and in the future. Learners explore and consider the needs of their industry and organizations when they discuss architecture, cybersecurity, new technologies, the democratization of IT, and ways to foster a culture of innovation. Learners develop an understanding of the tech leader’s role as a strategic business leader and the skills needed to effectively align business goals, communicate technology strategy, manage organizational change and risk, and manage expectations as a technology leader.
