Cyber Crisis Simulation with Immersive Micro-badge

Program Summary

This hands-on, scenario-based experience, in collaboration with Immersive,  is designed to provide participants with practical exposure to cyber crisis response in a high-stakes, team-based environment. Participants will have the opportunity to tackle technical cybersecurity challenges while also making executive team decisions to help a simulated company manage a high-stakes cyberattack. 

Outcomes/Objectives

After completing the Cyber Crisis Simulation, participants will have the ability to:

  • Effectively execute technical incident response procedures using industry-relevant tools 

  • Collaboratively develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize business disruption and secure compromised systems

  • Understand the importance of decisive strategic and executive decisions under pressure in order to mitigate the impact of a cyber attack

Earning Requirements

Participants must complete a collection of Immersive labs on the relevant tools and techniques necessary to solve the challenges within the Cyber Drill. During the simulation exercise, participants must actively collaborate with their team to complete the technical Cyber Drill challenges. Additionally, participants must respond to all strategic decision-making scenarios. Engagement in the challenges and scenarios will be tracked and scored within the Immersive platform.
